But the recurring thread I found myself most angry at was how god-awful Snyder's dialogue is. Lots of reasons why I detest this beyond a decade of annoyance at everyone fawning over something this bad. And I realize how polarizing it is to criticize Scott Snyder since he's basically been anointed the greatest Batman writer of this millennium, for some reason. This is the first 1-review book I've written. It took me half a year to finish it, and each page turn was like getting a root canal for my brain. I've hate-read books before, but never like this. I get a real kick out of someone Batman hunting down a regular “could exist in the real world” type serial killer.

A stellar conclusion to Snyder and Capullo’s work on the main Bat title!
